  1. Taman Ayun : The temple is dedicated to the ancestors of the kings who ruled until 1892 about Mengwi. Pura Taman Ayun is from 1634 and is situated in a water garden on three sides by a moat with lotus flowers. Accessible via the main gate (kori agung) with an image of Sai. There are several meru-towers of the mountains proposals, the place of the gods. The highest meru (right rear) has eleven floors, the mountain Gunung Batukau for. There are also various pavilions.

  3. Pura Ulun Danu Bratan : Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, or Pura Bratan, is a major Shivaite and water temple on Bali, the other major water temple being Pura Ulun Danu Batur. The temple complex is located on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul. Lake Bratan is known as the Lake of Holy Mountain due to the fertility of this area. Located 1200 m above sea level, it has a cold tropical climate.
  4. Bedugul : Bedugul is a mountain lake resort area in Bali, located in the centre-north region of the island near Lake Bratan on the road between Denpasar and Singaraja. Bedugul is located at 48 kilometres north of the city of Denpasar. Other nearby lakes are Lake Buyan, and Lake Tamblingan. Bedugul enjoys a mild mountain weather due to its location at an altitude of about 1,500 metres (4,900 ft) above the sea level. Major sites in Bedugul are the Pura Ulun Danu Bratan water temple and the Eka Karya Botanic Gardens. The Botanic Garden, opened in 1959. With a total area of 157.5 hectares (389 acres) is the largest in Indonesia.

Jatiluwih : Jatiluwih village in Penebel, north of Tabanan has paddy fields following the contours of terraced land against the background of spellbinding Mount Batukaru and Mount Agung use traditional Balinese irrigation known as subak, Bali’s community-based water control management system. Jatiluwih has gain acknowledgement from UNESCO as part of the world’s cultural heritage.

  4. Pura Kehen Bangli : Bangli is a regency (kabupaten) of Bali, Indonesia. It has an area of 520.81 km2 and population of 197,210 (2004). Its regency seat is Bangli. Up till 1907, Bangli was one of the nine kingdoms of Bali. The capital has a famous Hindu temple, the Pura Kehen, which dates from the 11th century.
  5. Pura Besakih : The Mother Temple of Besakih, or Pura Besakih, in the village of Besakih on the slopes of Mount Agung in eastern Bali, Indonesia, is the most important, the largest and holiest temple of Hindu religion in Bali, and one of a series of Balinese temples.

Bhima Swarga is a Hindu epic referenced form the Mahabharata. The story at the Kertha Gosa Pavilion is not the whole Mahabharata but one small section called Bhima Swarga.

  6. Tirta Gangga : Tirta Gangga is a village and palace in eastern Bali, Indonesia, about 5 kilometres from Karangasem, near Abang. It is noted for its water palace, owned by Karangasem royalty.
  7. Karangasem : Karangasem is a regency (kabupaten) of Bali, Indonesia. It covers the east part of Bali, has an area of 839.54 km2 and a population of 369,320 (2002). Its regency seat is Amlapura. Karangasem was devastated when Mount Agung erupted in 1963, ultimately killing 1900 people. Karangasem formerly was a kingdom before Bali was conquered by the Dutch.

  5. Goa Gajah : Goa Gajah, or Elephant Cave, is located on the island of Bali near Ubud, in Indonesia. Built in the 9th century, it served as a sanctuary. At the façade of the cave is a relief of various menacing creatures and demons carved right into the rock at the cave entrance. The primary figure was once thought to be an elephant, hence the nickname Elephant Cave. The site is mentioned in the Javanese poem Desawarnana written in 1365. An extensive bathing place on the site was not excavated until the 1950s. These appear to have been built to ward off evil spirits.
  6. Kintamani : Kintamani is a location on the western edge of the larger caldera wall of Gunung Batur in Bali, Indonesia. It is on the same north-south road as Penelokan and has been used as a stopping place to access and view the Gunung Batur region.

The Lovina area contains the small villages (from east to west) of Pemaron, Tukad Mungga, Anturan, Banyualit, Kalibukbuk, Kaliasem and Temukus.

  6. Singaraja : is the regency seat of Buleleng, Bali. The name is Indonesian for ”Lion King” (from Sanskrit simha and raja). It is on the north coast just east of Lovina. It has an area of 27.98 km² and population of 80,500. Singaraja was the Dutch colonial administrative centre for Bali and the Lesser Sunda Islands until 1953, and the port of arrival for most visitors until development of the Bukit Peninsula area in the south. Singaraja was also an administrative center for the Japanese during their rule.

Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) : Mandala Garuda Wisnu Kencana, or Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), is a 240 hectares private cultural park on the Bukit Peninsula at the southern end of the island of Bali, 15 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Bukit is a limestone plateau with Uluwatu to the west and Nusa Dua to the east. It is devoted to the Hindu God Vishnu, and his mount, Garuda, the mythical bird who is his companion. Currently, the statue of Vishnu is 23 metres (75.5 ft) high, although the original plan was for a 146-metre (479 ft) gold-plated Vishnu riding Garuda on top of an 11-storey entertainment complex. 
  3. Pura Luhur Uluwatu : is a Balinese sea temple in Bali. Built in the 11th century, it is one of nine directional temples meant to protect Bali from evil spirits. It is located in Pecatu village, Kuta South District of Badung Regency of Bali.
  4. Jimbaran Bay : Jimbaran is a fishing village and tourist resort in Bali, Indonesia. Located south of Ngurah Rai International Airport, the beach has seafood restaurants and luxury hotels, including the five-star Kayumanis Private Estate & Spa, Intercontinental Hotel Bali, Four Seasons and Jimbaran Puri Bali. Tourism in Jimbaran has increased rapidly so that it has boosted the local economy, but was devastated by the 2005 Bali bombings when suicide bombers struck at two popular warungs (restaurants) along the beach. However, the tourism industry has recovered. Diners select the live seafood that they wish to eat, and it is immediately prepared, generally grilled over a fire of coconut husks rather than charcoal. It is administered under Kuta South District along with Nusa Dua peninsula. Jimbaran lies on the ‘neck’ of the southern peninsula in Bali.
